Description
This 45-minute class builds on the skills learnt in the Intermediate Manners class.
What is covered:
- Refresher of Intermediate Manners Behaviors
- Advanced Focus Games: Strengthen your dog’s ability to stay focused on you, even in the most distracting environments. These games are designed to enhance your dog’s concentration and responsiveness.
- Navigating Real-Life Environmental Distractions: Your dog will learn to maintain composure and obedience in challenging real-world situations, such as busy streets, crowded parks, or unexpected noises.
- Advanced Loose Leash Walking Skills: Take your dog’s leash walking to the next level with techniques that promote calm and controlled walking, even in the presence of distractions.
- Advanced Recall Games: Ensure your dog comes when called every time, in high-distraction environments. These games are designed to make recalls fun and effective.
- Dog-to-Dog Greeting Skills: Learn how to manage dog-to-dog interactions with confidence. Your dog will practice polite and controlled greetings with other dogs, reducing the risk of negative encounters.
- Working Off-Leash: Teach your dog to follow commands and stay close without the need for a leash. This skill is essential for safe and enjoyable off-leash adventures.
- Learning to Fade Rewards: Gradually reduce the reliance on treats and rewards while maintaining your dog’s motivation and performance.
Students are recommended to stay at this class level until the dog is able to accomplish the skills for this level.
